Fall Team Challenge 2018 Week Two

After two weeks of erging we are coming to the half-way point of the challenge.
We are in 19th position out of 550 teams which places us in the top 3%! Nice work people!

We need to keep an eye on Crossfit Dream Rowing Club as they are only 100k behind us.

Individual achievements this week are impressive. Let's start with the top ten team-mates:

  • Steve-the-machine is still in pole position with nearly 300k!
  • Dave R is holding his own with 272k+
  • Ken M is only metres away from 150k
  • Rob is hot on Ken's heels with 148k!
  • Kevin is erging in another time zone with 131k
  • Phil, Andy and Evan have erged into the 100k+ club this week!
  • Mike is in the 'nearly 100k club' with 90k
  • Julie our top performing female team-mate with 84k

Contributions from the rest of the team have helped us achieve our top 3% position.

Fall Team Challenge 2018 Week One

Hello, fellow ergers!
Thank you for your well-wishes last week, I am now feeling better and have managed to make a slow return to regular eating and exercise.
We have had a surge of fellow team-mates uploading metres and we are currently in 18th position out of 486 worldwide teams.

The top 15 team-mates have contributed 35k or more each.

  • Our top performer, Steve has rowed an impressive 170k! An amazing effort there Steve-the-machine-Coles
  • David R is comfortably residing in second place but is giving Steve something to look out for!
  • Peter C and Ken M have exceeded 60k and are in third and fourth place respectively
  • Evan J is erging in Harlem, NYC with 59k
  • Rob has amassed 50k and at this rate should hit 200k by the end of the competition
  • Hans, Darren, Hector, Kevin and Andy are all erging it with 44k+
  • Our top performing female team-mate Julie has hit 42k
  • James, Harold and Les have rowed an average of 5k a day to hit 40k+

Thanks to the rest of ETT who have also contributed to our 18th place position:

Keep me posted on any PB's, fun workout ideas and other erging news on the blog, or Facebook or by e-mail ett@oddpost.co.uk.

Good luck for the week ahead and I'll catch you next Sunday!

Fall Team Challenge 2018 Day One

Hello folks, it is that time of year again where we all pull together as a team for the Fall Team Challenge. I have to excuse myself for not yet taking part as I've had a nasty stomach virus which has wiped me out for the last four days. I hope to be back on the erg next week to do my bit for the team.

We have healthy numbers signed up and 11 ETT'ers have already uploaded their contributions placing us in the top 30 teams out of 212.

We have some regulars back in the top ten with Lance P striking out in pole position, Andy S in second and Darren W in third!

Julie is the top ranking female in ETT on day one of the FTC in 9th place.

I look forward to rowing our way further up the rankings and at the moment (until I'm feeling better) I will cheer you on and motivate us to beat our 2015 FTC result of finishing in the top 3% with 10th place out of 272 teams.

Keep up the awesome work ETT'ers.

Fall Team Challenge starts on the 15th September

Hello, ETT'ers. I hope you all had a good summer/winter and are ready for some erging action this September. I had a little break from posting this summer but it will be business as usual for our 9th Fall Team Challenge that starts in two weeks time.

Row, ski or ride as many metres as you can between 15th September - 15th October.
Upload your metres to contribute to the team totals.

I am looking forward to hearing about your personal journeys, PB's, routines and metres during the challenge and all you need to do to join in, is to sign up on your C2 online logbook (screenshot of what to look out for is below).
