FTC 2014 Day 17

We are holding on strong to our top ten position with over 5 million metres in the bank!

Keep up the fantastic work team. We are nearing the half-way point of the challenge so erg hard and erg strong.

  1. Just thought I'd say a quick hello to share a good day's rowing - I passed 13M lifetime metres today and also rowed my fastest 10km in over 33 months! Decided that today's piece would have to be something worthwhile since it took me over 13Mm, so set out aiming for a sub-37', which I duly did pretty comfortably in 36:54. Then found out tonight that the last time I did sub-37 was January 2012 (when I almost did sub-36, but we'll gloss over that fact!!).

Feel suddenly inspired again after all the heart scares, hernias, etc etc!

    Row on ETT!

  2. Well done to all in the FTC to-date. It's still gig-racing season in Cornwall, England, so I'm chippping-in what I can for the moment between regattas. Good luck to all, pull hard, every metre counts! SteveC
