Dog Days of Summer Week Two

I managed to get the 20k in this week and so did the following team mates (I think?!)

  • Jonathan did a HM to hit the metres all in one go!
  • Mark B
  • Joe S
  • Lucas
  • Mike F
  • Phil N
  • Ric
Let me know if you hit the 20k and how you went about it.

This weeks challenge is 30k and I know we are all really looking forward to this one..... and next week its 40k! Let's not talk about it......

  1. Yeah did the 20k quite comfortably, but it is all about to crumble around me! For me how much I get to row is all about work commitments and this week coming I will lose two days potential training due to being away with work, so may struggle to hit 30k! The following week I will miss four days as I'm away for the bank holiday, so 40k seems unlikely unless I can inspire myself to do some really big distances!

  2. I did my 20K. I work part time and have no excuses.

  3. 20k+ done. And did an extra 9k tonight thinking it was the start of week 3 and now realised it's the last day of week 2 instead. Idiot.

  4. Just sneaked in a 4.2km to limp over the 20km line :) Wasn't supposed to, I had a deep back massage today and was told to rest up for the rest of the day, but I had to get that final 4km in!

  5. Ha! Mark and Lucas nice work there - you are both crazy : )
Well done to Phil and Paul too!

  6. I just joined the "20k for the week" club. I'd was 90m short and kept rowing a token 100m to cross the threshold. Apparently the Concept 2 utility doesn't give you credit unless you row more than a minute. Took me five tries to figure that out.

  7. I got my 37k for week 2 by making sure I went to the gym where I work out before I go to the office (5 am arrival at the gym) at least during the work week. Weekend's I don't always get there but this past weekend I did. I suspect week 3 and 4 will be more of the same.

  8. I grabbed a few water bottles & sang along w a few CD's of cowboy music for 22k tonight. I'm sure the neighbors were thrilled!

  9. Well done Caroline and all, great going on the challenge, here's to the next 30k! (-:

  10. Weeks 1 & 2 are done, but our holiday has started now.
    Weeks 3 & 4 will be a bigger effort.
    Success to everyone!
