JVTC 2013 Day Two and a new team mate

Things are hotting up in the competition stakes already and we have been bumped down into 11th place on day two.

The positive news is that even more ETT'ers have contributed metres today and we have been joined by a new team mate Dave P, 39 from Australia. Dave is a keen endurance athlete and so we can expect some good numbers from him over the next 30 days! Welcome to the team Dave.

Onto the statistics of the top ten team mates:

1 Craig Waugh 31,192
2 Norman Haas 21,288
3 keith lewis 21,128
4 Beat Emch 20,307
5 hector m guerrero villa 20,073
6 Todor Petrov 20,000
7 Phil Nolan 17,272
8 Caroline Joynson 15,108
9 Dave Pongracz 14,921
10 Rob Drury 12,962

JVTC 2013 Day 2 = 42 team mates = 11/183 teams = 356,762 metres = top 6%

  1. John Digweed here, I pulled my back on a bouncy castle over the holiday season (yes some wine had been drunk!), so if I cannot row soon, I will pull out of the challenge to not bring down the ETT's team average...

  2. Hi Caroline,

Thanks for the welcome to the team. I look forward to contributing whatever metres i can for the team and the various challenges.

Just i slight correction though if i may .... i'm from land down under 'AUSTRALIA' not AUSTRIA .... there are kangaroos where i come from lol:)

    Happy Rowing!

    Dave Pongracz

  3. OOPs sorry about that slight mishap on the geographical info - I will amend ASAP!

  4. John - you have until the 15th January to decide whether you want to stay signed up for the challenge - from that date on you can not delete yourself from the team challenge.
I will leave it up to you to decide - you may feel better in a week or so.... : ) but if not don't feel like you are letting the team down. We appreciate your support either way.

  5. John - we won't mention the bouncy castle / wine incident again!!
