WRC week 3, 31st March, 35th position - 1,123,748 metres

John has put a stormer of a row in and hit the 100k. Tim, Jude and Yvon are still putting strong rows in. Phil is close on our tail with 70k. Chris is still top of the league with 140k. Karen and Caroline are close to the 100k (OK - a few days yet).
Joe contacted me yesterday and said "Pull, pull and pull some more".
Come on Girls! Let's put some more metres on!

WRC week 3, 30th March, 33rd position - 1,046,327 metres

We have a new member called Jaimie - welcome!
Mik has joined us again (he is an original Empty the tanks team member from the JVC2009).
The boys are ahead in the 100k's (Chris, Jude, Yvon and Tim), closely followed by the 80k & 90k'ers Joe, Gordon, Caroline, John and Karen.

WRC week 3, 29th March, 32nd position - 986,851 metres

We have lost one hour potential rowing time because the clocks have been moved forward.
Progress has been good in the first 2 weeks, keep up the good work team!
Chris, Tim, Jude, Yvon and Joe are storming away at the top of the team standings. Caroline, Gordon, Karen and John are supporting the team with 60+ metres. All metres towards the team totals are much appreciated so thanks go out to Phil, Matt, Steve, Martin, Sophie and Sara.

Phil's back from his holiday - now he's ready for some rowing action!

Phil is back from his holiday with loads of energy to put into the WRC2009.

2 more new members to the team!

We have a 2 new members on the team. Steve has added 15,000 metres and Joe has added an impressive 65,000 metres to the team total, welcome to 'Empty the tanks' boys!

Empty the tanks World Rowing Challenge 2009 progress - week 2

22nd March 37th position - 380,238 metres
Gordon jumped up to 3rd position after a great row and Yvon clocked up the metres.

23rd March 41st position - 424,088 metres
Jude rowed over 15k today! Matt decided to put on some metres at last with 7k and Karen is still on track for the March Madness competition.

24th March 44th position - 482,937 metres
Chris is still at the top with 80k. Caroline and Karen are still plodding away with 5k's. Yvon, Tim and Jude have all contributed over 60k to the team so far!

25th March 46th position - 524,455 metres
Chris, Jude and Tim had another great day on the C2. Keep on rowing team!

26th March 43rd position - 641,071 metres
John joined the team today. Tim, Yvon and Jude have clocked up some impressive metres since yesterday - Keep up the good work guys! Caroline completed the March Madness competition for 25 days of 5k's in the month of March. Chris reached 100k.

27th March 33rd position - 818,190 metres
Steve and Joe became members of the team today. John is at 65k, Yvon is in the 90k's and Tim has hit the 100k. Matt has put more metres on the C2 and Gordon has contributed over 57k.
Let's go for it this weekend and work our way up to the 20's!

28th March 34th position - 872,741 metres
Yvon, Jude and Tim hit the 100k mark and Gordon has plotted some more miles up the Amazon river - check out the link on the top right of my blog.

Empty the tanks World Rowing Challenge 2009 progress - week 1

15th March 13th position - 48,063 metres
Yvon and Jude put in a stormer of a row on the first day, Martin, Sophie and Sara put in some metres too!

16th March 14th position - 109,299 metres
rowed 7k today, Chris and Caroline both managed to get a personal best time for their rows.

17th March 25th position - 143,578 metres
Tim put in a great row today and Phil grabbed the top slot.

18th March 22nd position - 211,247 metres
Gordon and Tim put decent rows in, Chris clocked up a 10k and Jude jumped to the top with 34k, only to be pipped at the post by Phil with 35k!

19th March 36th position - 240,450 metres
Karen put a 5k in and Gordon had another great day.

20th March 37th position - 286,990 metres
Caroline and Karen put in 5k's for the March Madness Competition.

21st March 40th position - 319,511 metres
Tim did an excellent row today and Chris is still top of the leader board with 55,000 metres.
